Product Overview

Type A steel wire rope reel is designed for marine steel wire rope storage where manual operation convenience is required.

The removable handle can be detached after use and can be operated from either the left or right side according to deck arrangement.

Compared with no-handle reels, Type A is more suitable for frequent manual winding and unwinding because the handle provides better turning control and reduces operator effort.

The reel is used for storage only, not for lifting or pulling. It is suitable for 13 mm to 32 mm steel wire ropes with storage length from 120 m to 190 m.

A bolted base, lubricated bearing arrangement, optional brake or locking pin, and smooth free-edge finishing make the reel safer and easier to operate on ship deck.

How It Works
