Description:

This cable management system is equipped with a 3*185 low-voltage cable and a dedicated shore power plug. The single cable length is 50 meters, and the cable winch design meets the ship's operating conditions. The rated current carrying capacity of the shore power box is 350A. The protection level of the cable management system and shore power box is IP56.

This Cable Management System is mainly composed of frame, cable reel, motor and reducer assembly elec. slip ring assembly, elec. control system, hysteresis coupling, shore power cable and shore power plug and other components.

The cable winch neatly collects a 50-meter cable on the cable reel, which is driven by motor. The cable with a plug can be reversed through the lower part of the reel.

Main Functions

Collect the cable

Manual operation control box on the collect cable button, winch collect the cable.

Cable Length Monitoring

When the cable is fully wound, the winding action is stopped and the display shows.

When there last 4 turns, the display and audio-visual alarm respond;

When there last 1 turn, the shore-side safety circuit is disconnected from the shore power supply, and the display and audio-visual alarm respond.

Emergency stop

Pressing the emergency stop button cuts off the shore-side safety circuit of the shore power supply and the power supply of the winch control system.

Cable Automatic Management Function

During shore power use, the cable reel can detect the change in cable tension in real time based on the position and tidal changes of the vessel through the tension and control system. The cable reel can automatically release or store the shore-to-ship connection cable according to the change in cable tension value to prevent the cable from being too tight or too loose.

Automatic cable release: When the vessel discharges cargo or the tide rises, causing the vessel to rise, the cable tension increases, and when the monitored cable tension exceeds the preset value, the control system automatically controls the motor to release a certain length of cable. When the monitored cable tension value returns to normal, the control system gives the signal for the motor to stop releasing cable, and the motor stops rotating and simultaneously engages the brake.

Automatic cable retrieval: When the vessel loads cargo or the tide falls, causing the vessel to descend, the cable tension decreases. When the monitored cable tension is less than the pre-set value, the control system automatically controls the motor to retrieve a certain length of cable. When the monitored cable tension value returns to normal, the control system gives the signal for the motor to stop retrieving cable, and the motor stops rotating and simultaneously engages the brake.
