Description

Installation knowledge:

As everyone knows, the hydraulic windlass is the main deck machinery of the ship, while the hydraulic motor is the main “joint” for the operation of the anchor winch. Its installation requires certain steps to ensure its normal operation and ensure the hydraulic pressure. The work efficiency of the windlass.

1. The chain depressor is set between the windlass and the chain cylinder to clamp the chain and protect the windlass with external force when anchoring. When sailing, use it to fasten the anchor and bear the weight of the anchor, and prevent the chain from bounce and hit the deck.

2. The installation of the base on the ship adopts screw connection

3. After the deck welding and pyrotechnics verification are all completed, the base must be trimmed with gas cutting so that the lower edge of the bracket of the base is tightly connected to the deck. The gap should not be greater than 2mm. At the same time, check the level of the plane on the base. Both sides of the bow of the anchor chain tube pass through the deck and the shell plate, and are composed of three parts: the deck chain hole and the tube body, which are the hole heads for the anchor chain to enter and exit the hull and to store the anchor rod. The anchor chain barrel is provided with water spray holes for washing the anchor chain, and the water is taken in from the deck water pipe to wash the anchor chain when the anchor is lifted. In order to prevent seawater from rushing onto the deck from the chain cylinder and to ensure the safety of personnel, a wave cover is provided at the chain hole of the deck. Can be hung on the base for installation.

4. Weld the base and the deck according to the requirements of the process drawing, first spot welding and positioning, and then weld the maximum length of 100mm on each side according to the drawing, cross it, and then proceed gradually. The welding seam must be dense, and the height of the bracket welding foot shall be in accordance with the requirements of the drawing.

5. Anchor chain pipe is a pipeline for the chain to enter and exit the chain cabin. Installed directly under the left and right chain wheels of the windlass, facing the center of the chain cabin, its diameter is 7-8 times the chain diameter. The deck nozzle of the chain pipe is equipped with a waterproof cover, which shall be closed after sailing to prevent seawater from entering the chain cabin.
